The area also features secret corners (behind destructible textures) which may contain extra loot or other rewards. Be sure to talk to Zoltun Kulle before you begin your quest to find Kanais Cube. The ruins feature many lore-significant locations (including the gates seen in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction opening cinematic, with bloodstains from Baal's cast to kill the helpless herald) and lots of devastating traps, from gargantuan bladed pendulums to classic floor spikes. The Ruins of Sescheron can be found by opening the Act III Adventure Mode map, and selecting the newly added waypoint in the upper-right corner. Filled with new enemies, traps, and environmental hazards, you'll be able to explore the region and learn more about what befell the barbarians of Mount Arreat. Players who manage to clear the area will gain entry to the Elder Sanctum and Tomb of King Kanai and obtain Kanai's Cube. The Ruins of Ruins of Sescheron are located in Act 3 close the Arreat Crater and were added to Diablo 3 in patch 2.3. Prior to 1 March 2016 Kanais Throneroom served no purpose but on 1 March Kanais spirit would rise from the throne and open a portal to what is a Secret Cow Level and the event Udder Cowlamity. The unique affix only works for Barbarian characters, and makes their Primary skills heal a percentage of missing (not maximum) Life with each damaging cast, no matter the number of enemies hit. Set within Act 3, Ruins of Sescheron will allow you and three other friends a chance to explore what remains of Harrogath, the barbarian city destroyed in Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction.
